At the April Club we watched a video of Canadians paddling the upper and lower Stiking river while doing a car portage around the central Stikine Gorge which was described as unrunable. Thinking there must be a story there it didn't take Google long to direct me to the article below, which was one of the best writtten peices I have read on white water kayaking. This lead me on to reading more of Doug Ammons writing and we then watched his recently released film "Wildwater" at the club meeting in May.
